AJENOR
AJENOR is an acronym
for "Advanced Jet Noise Reduction Means". The AJENOR proposal
is directed to development of improved technologies for aircraft
noise reduction, in particular jet noise.
Co-ordinator
of the proposal is the French National Aerospace Research Establishment
ONERA
(Office National d'Etudes et de Recherches Aerospatiales).
23 Organisations in 9 countries have been working on the proposal
(9 industry partners, 9 universities and 5 research establishments
form France, England, Sweden, Germany, Greecke, Spain, Italy, Poland
and Russia).
STEP-IT carried out the administrative management for ONERA, in
co-operation with Anotec Consulting.
Part of the activities of STEP-IT have been:
- Preparation of meetings and proceedings;
- Contact with consortium partners;
- Collection of all administrative information in the proper EU
format;
- Collecting and processing the technical proposals;
- Drafting of reports and processing the final report for submittal
to the European Commission;
- Consultancy;
- Creation of a secured web site for consortium purposes.
